Release Of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement

I acknowledge that I am participating in pickleball activities at Hillendale Park, Oregon City organized by the Hillendale Pickleball Club (“Club”).  I understand and acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury (ex: slip and fall, collision with another player, injury from racquet of another player, damage to eye or other body part from pickleball or other injury)  that are significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce these risks, the risks of serious injury and illness do exist.

Assumption of Risk: I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in pickleball activities, including the risk of injury, death, or property damage, whether caused by my own actions, the actions of others, or the negligence of the Club or its affiliates.

Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Club, its directors, volunteers, and other participants (collectively, "Releasees") from any and all claims, liabilities, or causes of action arising out of or relating to my participation in pickleball activities with the Club including claims for negligence.

Hold Harmless: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Club and its Releasees from any and all claims, demands, losses, damages, and expenses (including attorney's fees) arising from my participation in pickleball activities.

Use Permission: I grant Club permission to use my name, image, and likeness in any photographs, videos, or other media created in connection with my participation in pickleball activities.

Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Oregon.
